We're glad you dropped in. We'd like to share with you some travel notes and pictures for exploring, hiking, canoe tripping, waterfall discovery and camping along Lake Superior's Scenic Roads & Byways. We cover cities, villages, and scenic and recreational attractions along Minnesota's North Shore, Ontario's North and East Shore, and the South Lake Superior Shore of the Michigan Upper Peninsula, and Wisconsin.
We'll highlight some of the places we've found worthwhile to visit and explore. We'll also recommend some places to stay whether that be comfortable lodging, a full service campground, or roughing it. This coming holiday season, one of the most outstanding attractions is the Duluth Bentleyville Holiday Light Display, a Christmas village created with over 3 million lights. Later in the season, Bayfield, WI, becomes the center of attention when Lake Superior freezes over and people can hike to the Sea and Ice Caves. Golf Courses Around Lake Superior
 In 2010 we opened up a new section of SuperiorTrails - A directory and rating of Golf Courses along the Lake Superior Circle Tour. We visited a few more golf courses in the Upper Peninsula this past fall and have posted info on them. Reminder. Last year Nemadji Golf Course in Superior, WI opened April 1st, the earliest opener in over 50 years. |
