If you are a golfer, plan to bring your clubs along when you do the Lake Superior Circle Tour. You'll find some pretty nice courses with reasonable rates . . . plus a few championship courses sprinkled here and there for the low handicap player who enjoys being challenged and playing at top rated courses.
Even if you aren't doing the full tour, you can target a particular Lake Superior region to enjoy the attractions and find several decent courses to play. Many offer scenic views of Lake Superior and the fresh, clean breeze off the lake moderates temperatures and provides adequate moisture to keep the fairways in good condition.
Our goal is to give you a more in-depth guide to golf courses than is usually available on the Internet. We do this by playing the courses ourselves . . . paying attention to details of interest to golfers of a range of abilities and interests. Each golf course page will include pictures, maps and course data. Our rating system will be regularly updated with re-visits and comments from other golfers.
On our future golf course review itinerary - reviews of the Sault Ste. Marie Country Club in the Upper Peninsula, Crimson Golf Club in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
