Visiting Bentleyville Tour of Lights Christmas Display

Every year Duluth volunteers take over Bayfront Park to create a Christmas Village of 5 million lights. Besides displays of Santa, Reindeer, the Nativity, and other icons of Christmas there are loads of light displays depicting Duluth landmarks like the Aerial Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Canal Park and favorite annual events like the Tall Ships Festival. We first visited Bentleyville a few years ago the day after Thanksgiving and had a great time wandering through the displays. We finally got a chance for a return visit in 2017 when we spent a Thanksgiving weekend at Fitgers Inn in the old historical landmark Fitgers Brewery complex.

Here’s a video tour of the 2017 Christmas Display for your entertainment.

The Bentleyville Christmas Lights Village will be open seven nights a week until December 26th.

If your visit is on a Friday through Sunday, you can park at Fitgers Brewery Complex and ride the Christmas Express Train (see video below) to and from the Duluth Depot and walk across the bridge to the Bentleyville Tour of Lights.
