Lake Superior Circle Tour Golfing Guide
We toured a number of golf courses in the western Michigan Upper Peninsula in the fall of 2008: Ontonagon Golf Course, Wyandotte Hills, Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, and Portage Lake Golf Club. In 2009 we revisited Portage Lake in the western UP and in the central UP we golfed at the Heritage Course, Greywalls, Northern Michigan University's Chocolay Downs, and the Homestead Golf Course all in the Marquette, Michigan area. In 2010 we played Pictured Rocks Golf Club in Munising and Wild Bluff in Brimley. We also replayed Greywalls and the Heritage Course in Marquette.
Most of the courses in the UP are modestly priced and some are excellent golfing values. Only the Greywalls Course at the Marquette Golf Club will put a major dent in your wallet.
