Canoecopia Paddling Expo
Madison, Wisconsin

Billed as the World's Largest Paddlesport Expo, Canoecopia has been part of the rites of Spring for canoeing, kayaking, and canoe tripping enthusiasts who are ready to bid cold weather and snow good bye for another eight months. Traditionally held the second weekend in March, the event draws 20,000 devotees and hundreds of exhibitors to the 100,000 square foot Alliance Energy Center exhibition hall located on Madison's southern edge.
People come to see and buy new boats, new gear, outdoor apparel, plan their wilderness canoe and fishing trips, attend educational presentations, and talk canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and camping with old and new friends.
