In May most of the plantings in the Rose Garden are still protected against the likelihood of a killing spring frost. But in June the wraps come off and the spring flower portion of the garden comes alive. Jo and her sister Donna visited the gardens in mid-June and found much to admire, including a wild flower section of the park. Later in the season the 3000 rose bushes pop out - see more roses here
