In August 2006 we stayed at the RV park at the Lakehead Boat Basin on Park Point. The Basin is three blocks down from and an easy walk across the Aerial Lift Bridge to Canal Park and the convention center where Jo attended a quilt show, Quilting on the Waterfront.
Once the sun went down we discovered our location provided some enchanting views of downtown Duluth and its harbor and skyline.
