Copper Falls State Park

This attractive northern Wisconsin state park is a little bit off the Lake Superior Circle route, but in our opinion worth the detour. . . particularly in the spring or fall. This value of this scenic detour is further strengthened by the fact you can also take in Potato Falls on the Potato River.
If you are visiting in the fall, the Copper Falls-Potato River Falls loop makes a nice addition to your fall color tour.
